Since opening our doors in 1975, Country’s has been doin’ things the hard way—because that’s the right way. Our food? We make it from scratch with no shortcuts, just like Grandma would’ve done it.
Our barbecue is slow-cooked fresh at each location over hickory and oak, giving it that rich, smoky flavor y’all love. Our Brunswick stew? It takes two full days to make from scratch, the way it’s meant to be. Everything from our pies to our lemonade is made right here, with fresh-squeezed lemons and hand-cut fries. We use only the best ingredients, like top-quality, federally inspected pork and 100% Black Angus for our hamburger steaks.
For those minding their health, we’ve got plenty of wholesome options like barbecue chicken, smoked turkey, and fresh vegetables. We fry up our foods in 100% peanut oil and even take the time to skin our chicken before frying—except the wings, of course (you ever tried skinning a wing?).
